WEDDING BAND FROM MANCHESTER

The Retrosettes are the leading wedding and corporate entertainment in the North West of England

Even though the band have played at weddings, corporate events, festivals and venues all over the world, their rise to popularity is unlike any other band of their kind

“.the most elegant 'pub band' in the world!”

In 2016 The Retrosettes had a simple Youtube clip online that was seen by Italian film director Paolo Sorrentino.  He then booked the band to feature in the opening scene of his film 'Youth', joining Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel in the first shots of the movie. Their version of Candi Staton's 'You Got The Love' became the title track of the film.

Due to the popularity of the film in Europe The Retrosettes then toured with the likes of Simply Red, then went on to release an album through Universal Germany and Live Nation.

The Retrosettes are one of the best wedding bands in the North West of England.

As a function band, they have toured all over the world. From Red Square in Moscow, to The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, to the worlds only residential mega yacht sailing around French Polynesia, they've done it all.
They are the perfect choice for live entertainment at weddings, parties, festivals, venues and even garden parties.
They offer two sizes of band, as shown in the videos.  Their acoustic duo is ideal for wedding ceremonies, afternoon drinks and wedding breakfast.  Their full quartet is the perfect choice for evening entertainment to fill the dancefloor.
The sound of the Retrosettes is often compared to the authentic folk-rock bands of the 1970s.  Helen's voice is said to have elements of Stevie Nicks, Carole King and Carly Simon, but with a unique sound that is truly hers.
